While hard facts show colossal increases from last May in volume, listings and even price, these are not meaningful statistics. Last May the province was still coming to terms with the lockdown. Agents as well as Buyers were coming to terms with how to do business and deciding where the ethical obligations resided in the trading of real estate during the pandemic.
The most important facts here are not the comparables, but the average prices as they give both the Buyer and Seller the barometer of the market.
