Buds of Spring?

My lilacs buds froze. They burst out with enthusiasm, but fell to a surprise chill – the unpredictable. I’ve seen other lilac trees lush with blooms.  The market is similarly unpredictable. Lush here. Dried up there.

Sales are indiosyncratic.  Some properties are still receiving multiple offers. Most are not.  Properties with flaws are getting the side-eye.  Good sales are happening, but volume is, except for the early covid dip, at decade lows – approximate to the 1990’s.
